Lunch and chocolate with Kristin

Today, I got to see one of my best friends Kristin for the first time in awhile. She was abroad in England and France for a few weeks and our schedules never really match up so it is really hard to get together with one another.

Lucky for me, birthday month was continuing and Kristin brought me a gift! I love anything ocean themed so her gifts were spot on and I love them!

First place on the agenda today was to hit up Sweenors Chocolates in Wakefield. We wandered around and I took some pictures of the delicious treats. I definitely want to go back before Christmas to pick up some gifts for people!

I ended up getting a few candy bars and other treats to share with my family.

After getting some goodies, we headed to lunch at The Mews Tavern in Wakefield.

The Mews is one of my favorite restaurants and I got one of my favorite meals.

Buffalo chicken dip! Kristin's meal you can see behind mine- a personal cheese pizza which they made right near us at the brick oven which was cool to watch!

The Mews gets really into holidays and there were cobwebs everywhere for Halloween! There were so many decorations around which made for a festive meal! Last year I attended a Halloween party at the Mews with some friends and we had a great time!

This year it doesn't look like I will be attending the party at the Mews but I have a Halloween party to attend that my friends parents are throwing. I am really excited to dress up but I'm not sure what I'm going to be yet...

What are you going to be for Halloween?
Do you have a favorite costume from your childhood?

When I was little I dressed up as a witch for years! My mom painted my face green and everything. I also went as a power ranger, a princess, a black cat through my childhood years. In college I dressed as "lust" with all my friends as the 7 deadly sins, I also dressed as a bunny rabbit, and last year went as the counties of Epcot and I was Norway- it was a really great theme!
