Extreme Couponing!

First off, check out this picture of Roxy following my mom as she uses the leaf blower- what a goober! My mom called Roxy her assistant as she followed her around the entire yard. Crazy dog =)

I've also been able to enjoy quite a few meals consisting of Panera Bread broccoli cheddar soup and bread thanks for my mom picking it up the other day! Love this meal so much!

Now, lets get down to business. I am not an extreme couponer, but I would LOVE to be. I just don't have the time to put into it every week. I would love to make money by shopping because I LOVE to shop. (There's a lot of love in this post today huh?) Anyways, yesterday I took off to do some errands with my coupons and I thought I would share how I did. I know I have a TON to learn about couponing and if anyone has any knowledge about it, please let me know- I would love to learn.

HP INK

Then, I headed to Walmart and looked around quite a bit! I love taking my time in Walmart and wandering the aisles...

Then I headed over to CVS because I needed to pick up two sympathy cards and I had a few coupons to use there as well!

Sour Halloween Bag Mix (to send to a friend abroad): $5.99 (1/2 off)
M&M Christmas Color Bag: $4.29
2 Hallmark Cards: $1.99 each
Lubriderm Lotion: Originally $7.99
used coupon for $2.00 off

Also I had a 20% CVS coupon for any full price items which saved me $3.60 off my order.

TOTAL SPENT: $17.96
TOTAL SAVED; $5.60

Overall, I felt like it was a successful shopping trip. I am still experimenting with couponing and hope to update this blog with my shopping trips if I happen to have a great day with great deals. Hopefully I'll learn more as I go as well, because clearly I have a lot to learn! =)

Have a great day everybody!
