Weekly Couponing Wrapup!

On Tuesday when I went couponing, I broke the register. Yes, I am officially one of those crazy couponers =)

Here's what happened:

I purchased...

1 Hershey chocolate bar @ 99 cents
2 Oral B toothbrushes @ $5.99 each
2 Covergirl Eye Enhancers @ $4.19 for one, then $2.09 for the second. (BOGO 50% deal)
1 Kotex pantyliners @ $1.67

(I also planned on getting the 5 count Zyrtec during this transaction but my store was out of them!)

The coupons I used...

99 cent coupon for the Hersey's chocolate bar, making it FREE!
(2) $3 coupons for the Oral B toothbrushes, making them $2.99 each.
$2 coupon for the Kotex, making it a 33 cent MoneyMaker!
(2) $2 coupons for the Covergirl, making them $2.28 total.

I also used a 25% off CVS coupon, which only took off 42 cents.

I used a $6 CVS ECB. I tried to use a $4 ECB but the register got mad, the manager ended up having to void the $4 ECB, which brought my total to $2.92.

I swiped my card to pay, and the manager gave me $4 in cash back for the ECB that got voided =)

I also received a $6 ECB to use on my next transaction- SWEET!
