July Birchbox Review

Good morning everyone!

I finally got around to trying all the products in my July Birchbox, and although it was not my favorite box by any means, I genuinely liked all of the products inside.

The first product in my box is the one that I truly liked the most out of them all. The Klorane dry shampoo is really nice and light. I've been using it on second day hair and it gives my hair a nice lift and makes it feel clean without adding too much product to it. I would consider buying this in the future if I needed a new dry shampoo because it is by far the best one I've tried.

This G-1 moisturizer is an okay product. It is a very thick cream which I am not a huge fan of. I usually use Celestial by Lush as my go-to moisturizer which is very lightweight so this was very different. If my skin was extremely dry in a certain area I could see myself finding a need for it but definitely won't work as my every day moisturizer.

Yuck, this Juicy Couture perfume was MUCH too "old" smelling for me. I'm awful at distinguishing fragrances but I felt that this was far too floral and smelt too strong for me to wear on a daily basis. I wore it for one day and that was one day too many. By the end of the day I couldn't wait to get the stench off! I am partial to clean smelling fragrances, or even ocean-like smells. I like a few florally perfumes but they need to be very light smelling, I definitely don't do the harsh!

These bobby pins are great for my thick hair, but the color deters me from wearing them often. I would prefer them if they were hair-colored or even black. I think they are a great concept though and really do enjoy having new clips to play with!

Last but not least is the Purminerals CC Cream. I received the light shade and it actually works very well with my skin tone. This is pinker then I normally wear for foundation and the coverage on this is not as great as what I normally chose to wear. However, I do like the lightness of it and I was very thrilled that it didn't break me out, as so many face products do! I will use up this sample for sure, but I don't think I will be purchasing a full size anytime soon.

That's it for my Birchbox review for July! In a week or so I should be receiving my August Birchbox and will be back to show you what products I received!

Have a great day everybody!
