On Friday I received my Birchbox in the mail!
The Birchbox itself is so cute! I love the silver words across the front. "Sparkle and Shine"
I received five items inside this box, a few I'm excited to try and a couple that I am a little wary of.
This first product Grand Central Beauty's S.M.A.R.T Skin Perfecting Polisher is one that I'm a little wary of. If you've been following my blog for any length of time, you know that I am always a little wary of what I put on my face. My skin is SO sensitive, I don't usually break out like normal people do, but my skin is extremely dry and also tends to get very red and sensitive. I am always a little nervous to put something new on my skin but I will give this a try. It is a tiny, tiny little sample, so I will try it out and let you know how it works!
The next product is Toni & Guy's Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray. Apparently Toni & Guy is a popular salon in the UK, so I take that as a good sign! I'm excited to try this sample out. It's an extremely decent size, taking up almost the entire length of the box. This product is to make beautiful beachy waves any time of year. Hopefully this will work on my thick, unmanageable hair!
I can't wait to try this Twistband Hair Tie! It claims to not cause creases in your hair, which is amazing to me, because my hair is always creased and I have to wear it up for work right now. Hopefully this will work!
I'm also excited to try FusionBeauty's LashFusion XL. I can always use a nice mascara to try out! It also says on the Birchbox card which says that it is a slightly drier formula which is great because I HATE wet mascara!
My last product makes me a little nervous and it's all because of one word. This is Dr. Lipp's Original Nipple Balm for Lips. Yes, it was once nipple balm. Apparently, this was made as nipple balm but is ultrahydrating and now used to hydrate lips. Who knows. You know how I am about my lips...and I don't know how I feel about putting nipple balm on them!
Well that is my Birchbox first look for December! I will be back soon to review these products for you!
