How To Save Money: More Couponing Apps and Money-Saving Sites You Will Love!

Happy Wednesday (Hump Day) everybody! I'm back with my second to last installation of my how to save money series.

I know you're probably ready for some other money saving tips that don't have to do with couponing apps, so I'm going to talk about two apps that I love and then I'll move on to some money saving sites that I know you will absolutely love.

The two apps I have left to talk about are; Target Cartwheel and Hip2Save.

Target Cartwheel is an amazing app if you are an avid (or sometimes) Target shopper. The closest Target is about a half hour away from me, so it's not a place I shop every week but you better believe that if there's an amazing deal I haul my butt up there!

Cartwheel has a bunch of different offers from Target brands to name brands and offers different amounts off. They offer a certain percentage off of items on their stores which is a great way to save on different items you may already be purchasing.

Here's the kicker. You can use a manufacturer coupon, a Target printable coupon, and a Target cartwheel coupon all on the same item. Say what! Which means you have THREE ways to save! Amazing. Absolutely amazing. So often there are ways for you to combine these three coupons, get an item for free at the store, and then potentially use an app like Ibotta, Shopmium, or Checkout 51 and make money off of it! Gotta love freebies and money makers.

If you shop at Target all you need to do is download this app and then add the offers that appeal to you to your shopping list. Once you purchase the items, your cashier simply needs to scan the barcode that pops up on your phone and it will cover all the items in your app. Easy peasy.

The second app I want to talk about is Hip2Save. This app keeps all your couponing information right at your fingertips. You can easily open this app and Collin (the creator of Hip2Save) has listed all the deals at every store you could possibly want to shop in. She also has all the store coupon policies in the app as well as a budgeting tool. You can even watch her videos, enter contests, and check out deals at restaurants easily from this app. She has truly thought of it all and it's a great way to keep up with all the current couponing information.

Now for a few money saving websites.

Before you buy anything online, you really need to be earning cash back for your purchases. I'm serious. I never, ever, ever order anything online without first signing in through Ebates or Swagbucks.

Ebates is simply a cash back website. You may have seen it advertised on television, but I promise you it's not a scam. I have received a ton of money from this website, which all is given back as a percentage of what I paid for items I ordered online. I think it's especially great at Christmas time when I do a lot of ordering of gifts!

Swagbucks is another great site that you can shop through to earn a percentage back. There are also a ton of opportunities to earn money on Swagbucks. You can take surveys, watch videos, or complete little challenges in order to earn "swag bucks" which then you can cash in for gift cards. I have earned over $200 in gift cards over the past years simply by stopping by Swagbucks once a day. Instead of trolling Facebook for twenty minutes, I complete a few activities and earn my bucks for the day- it definitely goes far!

Finally, Retailmenot. I have been using Retailmenot.com for years now and it's a great way to find any coupon code that is out there for the site you are ordering from. Simply go to the website, type in the store you're shopping at and search. Retailmenot will list any coupon codes that are currently available making sure that you are saving the most money possible! Really it's an awesome idea.

That's all for my money saving tips of the day. Next week in my final installment I will be sharing free sample information! If you have any questions about saving money feel free to e-mail me at balancingonmytoes@gmail.com or leave a comment below. I will be happy to answer anything!

Have a  great day everybody!
