Ebates!

Have you heard of Ebates?

I think Ebates is one of the best websites I have ever been a part of and I thought I would give you a little reminder about it before Cyber Monday starts up.

Ebates is a website where you can actually earn money for shopping online. Before I order anything online I go to Ebates first and log-in that way whatever I spend online will go through Ebates and I will earn money back. (I actually have an alert bar on top of my browser that tells me if I'm on a website where I can activate Ebates which is really handy!)

You've probably seen commercials for Ebates on tv and I'm here to tell you that it's completely legit. I have received checks multiple times and it's a great way to make a little money back when you're doing your online shopping- especially during the holiday season!

Weekly Couponing Wrapup

Happy Friday! I know today is Black Friday and many of you are probably out shopping all the major deals, or perhaps you're already home ready to relax after a night of shopping. I am definitely not a Black Friday shopper, I much prefer to stay home in my pajamas relaxing.

I did Black Friday once and ended up spending the night on a sidewalk outside of Best Buy and got ear infections in both ears, so never again. At least not until I forget that horrific experience!

So anyways, earlier this week I did some CVS shopping for all their freebie deals.

Laura and I headed around the store with the CVS weekly ad and found all the freebie items.

Project 365: Week 47

Two posts today for you lucky readers! My project 365 is almost complete..only a few more weeks remain. Here is week 47 for you...

Day 325. I stole this picture from Sam over at Simply Organized but I think it is definitely words to live by. I hate clutter and I hope that I can help people overcome the clutter in their lives!

Day 326 I went to see Mockingjay and it was incredible! I love The Hunger Games books and seeing them brought to film is an incredible experience. I thought they did a great job with the movie and am considering doing a review on how they did bringing this book to the big screen-maybe something you'll see here soon?

On day 327 I went to the URI basketball game. As a URI alum I was shocked by how exciting the basketball games have gotten! They installed a new light system last year and it was definitely more theatrical! The game was an exciting one- and we ended up beating Nebraska which was a huge win! Rhody Rhody Rhody...Rams Rams Rams!

Day 328. I went a little crazy at CVS shopping the amazing deals! I will be sharing more on that tomorrow, and I will also be sharing information on the deals for this weekend at CVS as well- so come back tomorrow for that!

Day 329. I got organized because it is time for Dance Team Season to start! I am so excited to be the new coach for a great group of girls and can't wait to get started!

Day 330. I was laying in bed thinking I would rather be in Puerto Rico in the sunshine instead of in this cold and rain we've been having in Rhode Island!

Day 331. At the end of the day- what face is sweeter to come home to then this one? Love this little girl! =)

Thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I hope you are able to spend the day with the people you love, eat a ton of food, and reflect on all you have to be thankful for.

Here are a few things I am especially thankful for this year.

My Family

I have been blessed with a wonderful family and amazing parents. I feel blessed every day to have such loving support around me.

My Friends

I love spending time with so many different groups of friends. I am so lucky to have an incredibly supportive group of friends (many of whom have gone un-pictured) and thank my lucky stars every day that I have so many people to turn to. I love you all.

Roxy

This list wouldn't be complete without an adorable picture of my furry friend. I honestly have the sweetest dog in the world. She wouldn't hurt a fly and I am so thankful that she is around to cuddle with and bring joy into my life every day!

My New Job(s)

I have been very lucky this year to be blessed with a new full time job and I'm thrilled to be a position where I feel respected and appreciated. It is a huge change from where I was over the past few years and learned a valuable lesson about who is worth working for and who isn't. I am so lucky to be in a job where I have health benefits and am paid for every moment that I work- very different from my previous position.

I also am thankful and excited to announce that I am the new dance team coach for a local high school! I am thrilled to be working with kids again and of course to have dance back in my life!

Health

Finally, I am so thankful that I am healthy- and for the health of those I love.

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Christmas Shopping and a Free Printable!

How are you doing on your Christmas shopping this year?

I've been way behind my normal schedule of getting everything done before Thanksgiving..but I tried to recover by ordering a ton of items online this weekend. I have quite a few good ideas for Christmas gifts this year, but I don't want to give anything away because I know a few people I've bought for are regular readers- but let's just say I've gotten a lot of great ideas this year and I'm excited to give out my presents!

However I do want to give you a few ideas of gifts to give this year...

~Candles

'Tis the Season 3-Wick Candle - Home Fragrance 1037181 - Bath & Body Works   Vanilla Bean Noel 3-Wick Candle - Home Fragrance 1037181 - Bath & Body Works

Cinnamon Roll Ring Candle

I am a huge fan of candles and I think they make a great gift for everybody from family members, to acquaintances. There are so many different scents and types of candles to choose from. Bath and Body Works candles are one of my favorites- they are inexpensive and come in some great scents!

~Gift Cards

Even though they are boring- gift cards are the way to go! I love giving gift cards that my friends and family will actually use. My favorites to give and received are ones to Amazon, coffee shops and restaurants that are local.

Isn't it better to give a gift card that your friends and family will use rather then another knickknack they won't?!

~Beauty Products

As a big-time beauty product lover there are a few items I think would make great gifts if you know someone who loves beauty items.

Urban Decay - Naked3

Urbay Decay released their Naked 3 palette and for anyone who is a fan of the brand- I would definitely check this out.

I also can't recommend Taylor Swift's perfume enough! This is my all-time favorite perfume lately and I think it would make an amazing gift for someone who needs a new perfume!

~Books

You can probably tell if you've been reading for awhile that I'm an avid reader. Check out the tab above to see some books I've read and recommend.

Some books I've read that would be perfect gifts this season...

There are so many gifts you can give this holiday season...

Lucky for you I have done a few gift guides throughout the past years...

Gift Guide 2012

Gift Guide 2013

I also created a quick printable to help you keep track of all the gifts you buy this year. You can download your copy of this festive printable right here.

I like to keep track of who I'm buying for, what I've bought them, how much money I've spent, and where I've hidden the gifts I've bought.

How are you doing on your Christmas shopping this year?

Martha Stewart Wall Organizer

I have always been an office supplies girl.

I was the one begging my mom to let me pick out my new backpack and notebooks as soon as school ended in June. I would make labels for all my notebooks and have everything set up in my backpack months before school started. Yes, I was a little nerd...and no things haven't changed much since then.

When I saw the Martha Stewart Wall Organizer in Staples I knew it was love at first sight. I had so many ideas of what I could use it for and waited until moving into my new bedroom to set up this masterpiece.

This little organizer has brought so much organizational joy into my desk area! I have two sections in this baby.  "TO DO" and "TO FILE"

I took about two weeks to figure out what my labels would be- I wanted them to be simple but I wasn't sure what they should be. I waited to see what I needed to clear off my desk and put into them and came up with simple categories.

I made the labels with my Brother labelmaker and put a piece of washi tape on the bins before sticking the label on top to give it a bit more color and allow the labels to stand out.

TO DO is anything that needs to be completed. This is where I put bills to be paid, surveys to complete, and information that I need to physically do something with. I wanted to keep all current tasks nearby for completion.

TO FILE is self-explanatory, it is any papers that need to be filed. I throw receipts in here as I bring them home throughout the week, bills that have been paid but need to be placed in my filing system, and anything else of the sort.

It's a simple, easy system that I can manage on a day to day basis. It keeps paperwork handy but off my precious desk space.

The Martha Stewart organizer is great because there are so many different ways you can use it. I have a small pinboard that I also usually have pinned behind my desk. I like to keep things like recent photos, save the dates, and other important papers I want to see in front of me on it. For the purpose of this blog I put it on the floor so you can see how it works.

The wall organizer itself is just a simple piece of plastic that gets placed on your wall. It has places for the front part to clip into place. This way you can hang the organizers in multiple places in your house and just switch out the fronts as needed.

The wall organizer itself has a level built in and it also comes with hardware to hook it onto the wall, but I've found that the command strips that have velcro on them work just as well and keep the organizers on the wall without a problem!

Here is what the back of the pinboard looks like- you can see how it hooks right into the back.

So there you have it...my Marth Stewart Wall Organizers! This post was not sponsored by Martha Stewart and all of these products were purchased with my own money, it is simply just a product that I love!
