New Years and Boston!

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve and are ready to take on 2016!

My New Years Eve was spent with Tim and we went to two different parties and I loved being able to get dressed up.

On New Years Day, Tim, his parents and I headed to Foxborough to see the Bruins play in the Winter Classic! It was held at Gilette Stadium which was super fun. We tailgated before the game and had a delicious parking lot breakfast!

After the game (which unfortunately the Bruins lost) we headed into Boston to stay overnight at the Harborside Hotel! The room was absolutely gorgeous and HUGE!

We ate a delicious Italian dinner at Pagliucas in the North End and then out for drinks at The Black Rose. I love Boston, it's such a fun city to spend time in. I have to say I highly recommend Pagliucas for their penne in vodka sauce- it was fantastic!

On Saturday we woke up, had breakfast at the hotel and then went to Frost, a bar in Boston where the temperature is 21 degrees!

If you've never been to a Frozen Bar it is worth a trip! The average time inside is about 45 minutes which we pretty much stuck to. They do acclimate you to the temperature and it definitely isn't unbearable inside, but after 45 minutes it does get VERY cold!

While in Faneuil Hall we checked out the tree, and then we headed to Dicks Last Resort for some drinks. Of course they gave us some awesome hats!

After spending the afternoon at Dicks, we went to Drink, a bar where you tell them what kind of drink you prefer and they make you something different every time.

My drinks were all really fruity and they did a great job making each drink we asked for. One of Tim's drinks was a just like an ice coffee, it was awesome! I was really impressed with how much effort went into each drink, I would highly recommend stopping by Drink if you are in Boston!

Our second dinner in the North End was at Asiago and once again I had penne with vodka sauce. It was just as good as the dinner the night before!

We stayed in another hotel along the harbor which was beautiful!

It was an amazing weekend in Boston! We had the best time and I was bummed to have to head back into work on Monday morning!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and New Years!
