Life Lately

You know when life has been super busy but it's just all your normal day to day things so you feel like you haven't actually done anything? That's what it's like around here! Life has been all about work, the house and Sophie. I go to work during the day and hang out at the house with Tim and Sophie at night. I attempt to keep the house clean, get all my errands and chores done and read or watch Netflix if I get the chance.

This is my life and I love it! Although, if I could be a stay at home dog mom that would be ideal.

We finished our first round of Sophie's puppy classes at Fetch RI. She actually started listening pretty well by the end! We are thinking about doing another round but Sophie got fixed yesterday so it'll be a little while before we head back! This picture is from one of our many trips to Fetch RI where we picked up some new treats for Soph. She loves seeing the girls in the store and the treats there are her favorite!

Here are the beautiful flowers Tim picked for me on Valentines Day. I came home to a really nice meal and beautiful flowers!

Tim made homemade mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious!

Here is Tim's other valentine! She was making sure that he didn't forget about her.

How cute is this little face?! I am so obsessed with her.

We took Sophie on her first hike and she absolutely loved it. She definitely enjoyed sniffing everything and was so exhausted afterwards.

I cooked homemade chicken noodle soup and it was delicious! A little light on the broth but otherwise it was delicious!

Here's Sophies new toy that we had to buy her! She plays with a similar bungee toy in her puppy class so this was a great purchase.

Just a girl and her rose.

Tim took this picture and I'm obsessed with it! She's so sweet.

After a busy day this girl was exhausted! Tim and I couldn't stop laughing at how her head was hanging off the couch. She laid like that for awhile too.

On Saturday Sophie went to the dog park for the first time and at first we were the only ones there and she loved it.

There were a ton of tennis balls there so we threw them and she brought them back.

....and then other dogs arrived....and she because a little scaredy cat!

We still managed to have a good time though!

...and then a dog would come up to her and she would hide again! She's such a baby!

We took her on a quick hike afterwards which she loved.

It was so nice last weekend and it was great to get outside!

Here's a quick addition to our deck. We bought this grill before Christmas and Tim put it together on Sunday. We are excited to add to our outdoor decor and hang outside this Spring and Summer!

Finally, our new doormat for our side door! I thought it was fun and it was nice to get rid of the old one that was out there. I can't wait for the deck to be redone, it will look even more amazing!

What have you been up to lately?

February Barkbox

Today we are taking about Sophie's Barkbox this month! She of course is still extremely difficult to photograph when her Barkbox comes because she is so excited about it! I swear they spray something on the package to make her go nuts!

She couldn't wait to get her box open and kept sniffing around it wondering what great treats were inside.

Now, the next two pictures are SO blurry but I had to include them because they show how much fun she has when this box arrives!

There was a diamond necklace/ bow tie (you flipped it around depending on your preference. Sophie of course chose the diamond necklace because she's super fancy.

Her favorite was definitely the rose toy! She carried this around for a few days non stop!

Here is a better picture of the rose toy. Honestly we are getting to the point we might need to upgrade to the super chewer box because she ripped this open and it is no longer with us. I don't want her to waste toys and us to waste money buying things that she will destroy in a day. We are going to try one more month of the regular Barkbox and if she is still destroying toys we will upgrade.

Here's the inside of her box, which included a red carpet that your dog could walk. Sophie would've definitely eaten it, so we skipped that but it was a super cute theme!

Her diamond necklace is super cute and has managed to survive so far!

This toilet seat award is half alive. The tennis ball is detached and the top part is empty of fuzz now, but it's still hanging around!

As usual Sophie also received a long term chew (that lasted about three minutes) and two bags of treats.

Do I still think Barkbox is worth the money? Yes.

For the joy that it brings us once a month it's 100% worth it!!

Do you get Barkbox?

My Last 25 Amazon Prime Purchases!

Last week Alexandra Beuter made such a cute video on YouTube where she shared the last 50 items she purchased on Amazon Prime. I absolutely loved seeing what she purchased and since I'm super nosey it was like looking into someones Amazon account which I think is super interesting!

Long story short, I thought I'd try it! However, 50 is a LOT of items so I thought we'd just start with 25. If this is helpful or interesting then I can do it again in the future as well.

Starting from most recently purchased...

25.

Sophie plays with a similar toy in her puppy class so we decided to get one for home too. She absolutely loves it and often carries it from the bungee handle end.

24.

The dog trainer who runs our class suggested this for Sophie since she doesn't really care about eating. This makes it more of a fun game to eat her food and so far it's working!

23.

I ordered this on a whim and it was interesting but not a whole lot that I didn't already know about Friends!

22.

I used these in my kitchen junk drawer and love how they look!

21.

I bought these as a cheap solution for our front and side doors. Before I put these down a ton of dirt and grime was being tracked in by all of us and this at least helps fight that a little bit.

20.

I picked these up to trim around Sophie's eyes between groomings. She holds pretty still and I like the dull edges so I don't get too nervous about trimming her face.

19.

This was part of a couponing deal so I ordered these on a subscribe and save deal which I just cancelled once I received the wipes. I go through Lysol wipes like crazy around here because I always use them in my bathroom.

18.

Ah the pooper scooper. This is super helpful in our yard picking up all the messes.

17.

After Christmas I needed some new thank you notes. I love buying these big packs so they last awhile!

16.

This stuff works SO well! We had a few rugs to lay down (and more to lay down in our future) so I decided to pick ups. big roll and would definitely purchase this again if needed.

15.

I bought this for Tim as part of his Christmas present and it works great so he can shave in the shower. There is so much less mess if he shaves in the shower versus over the bathroom sink so I definitely appreciate this purchase!

14.

I bought this for our training classes but I don't think I would buy it again. I could've just kept treats in my sweatshirt pocket.

13.

Would not repurchase. This looks way cuter in the picture than it does in person!

12.

This is a miracle worker! On Saturday I spilled Coke on the rug, sprayed this on the spots and they disappeared! I learned about this from MyTexasHouse and am SO impressed.

11.

I bought three of these at Christmas and although it was great to have a timer going where I didn't have to worry about them, they looked VERY fake. They are definitely a cheap option but you are 100% getting what you pay for!

10.

Sophie get washed with this when we give her a bath at home!

9.

I put this outside the front of our house during Christmas time.

8.

Sophie chews on this from time to time and seems to love it!

7.

We mainly use this to watch Sophie during the day while we are at work but it definitely serves as a security camera too and gives us piece of mind!

6.

We needed new address labels when we moved into the new house and these were inexpensive and cute!

5.

I purchased two of the blue and white striped laundry hampers. One in the XL size and one in L. I love them! They are sturdy but don't take up too much room.

4.

Simple purchase for our kitchen and works!

3.

A must if you have glasses!

2.

You know you need them!

1.

Works great for those accidents!

So that's what I've bought from Amazon Prime lately....what have you picked up?!
